A beautiful smile says a lot about you! Not only does it give you confidence, it can often take you to the next level in your personal relationships and your career.
Is your smile presenting the image you want to portray, or are there aspects of it you would prefer to change?
Whether you’re just looking to brighten your smile or you’d like to completely update your look, the good news is that cosmetic dentistry offers many solutions that can help you achieve the smile you’ve always dreamed of.
At Modern Day Smiles, we offer two different options for teeth whitening that will accommodate our patients' needs.
For patients who need quick results, we offer our Zoom in-office whitening system. In a short one-hour appointment, we’ll apply a high-strength whitening gel that is activated with a special light. Most patients leave our office with teeth that are six to ten shades lighter.
For patients who want to whiten at home at their leisure, we offer custom-made take-home trays. Our team will take impressions of your teeth, which we’ll use to make custom-fitted trays. We’ll give you a crash course on how to safely apply whitening gel, and you’ll be able to whiten at home, based on your own schedule.
Initially, you may want to whiten for about two weeks to achieve the desired results; however, the greatest benefit of take-home trays is that you’ll be able to update your smile whenever you like.
Dental veneers are a thin “shell” made from porcelain that is designed to fit over and enhance your natural tooth structure. Veneers are a great option for repairing gaps or other spacing issues, tooth shape irregularities, discoloration, and small fractures or chipping. Veneers can repair one tooth, or they can completely change the appearance of and enhance an entire smile.
Composite resin, the same tooth-colored material used to fill cavities, can also be used to repair chipping, wear, and fractures. Composite can be custom blended to match your existing teeth, and because it’s pliable and easy to work with, Dr. Patel and Dr. Girgis can shape it so that no one will ever know your tooth was chipped. Composite is a very durable material that will enhance your smile for many years.
At Modern Day Smiles, Dr. Patel and Dr. Girgis have the knowledge, expertise and training to help you achieve your goals for your smile. The first place to start is a consultation with our doctors to help determine your desires and concerns for your teeth. Our doctors will make treatment recommendations based on your specific needs, and you may be surprised to learn that you have multiple treatment options to choose from. We’ll take the time to educate you about your teeth and help you select the treatment that will take your smile to the next level.
