At Modern Day Smiles, Dr. Patel and Dr. Girgis welcome patients of all ages to our practice.

We understand that choosing a dental provider to take care of your family is big decision, and that’s why we offer a wide range of services and strive to meet all your needs here at our practice. Our goal is to exceed your expectations when you visit our office and make every visit pleasant and stress free for you and your family.

Here are some of the services you can expect to find at Modern Day Smiles:

Preventative Care

We offer preventative care for both adults and children at our practice, and we believe that preventative care is the key to maintaining optimum oral health as well as excellent overall health and well-being. When you’re proactive about your oral health, we can help you prevent most dental issues and ensure that you receive the least invasive and most effective treatment.

Restorative Care

Dr. Patel and Dr. Girgis diagnose treatment as conservatively as possible so you can rest assured that treatment recommended to you is really what you need and not what someone might think you need. We use only the highest quality dental materials, so if you do have a tooth in need of repair or restoration, you can trust that you’ll receive a restoration you can rely on for years to come.

Sedation Dentistry

For our patients who feel anxious or fearful about their dental procedures, we offer dental sedation. "Laughing gas," or nitrous oxide, can help take the edge off so you can feel relaxed and at ease during your appointments. Nitrous is a breathable gas administered through a mask during your procedure. It works quickly to relax you and also rapidly leaves your system after your appointment, so you’ll be able to drive yourself home and participate in your regular activities after your appointment.

Oral sedation is a medication our doctors will prescribe for you to take approximately one hour before your appointment. While you’ll still be conscious, you’ll be fully relaxed and may feel like you fell asleep as you won’t have much memory of what went on during your appointment. Oral sedation requires that you have a ride to and from your appointment, and you should plan on taking time to recover after your appointment.

At Modern Day Smiles, we strive to offer comprehensive dentistry for the entire family that you can trust and afford. You’ll notice a difference in the quality of care, and we know you’ll appreciate the personalized attention you receive from our entire team.
