Our custom-tailored preventive dental treatments to keep you and your family’s oral health in-shape:

Preventive Care

Preventive dentistry is the practice of keeping your teeth safe from cavities, gum diseases, enamel water and much more.

There are several types of preventive dentistry, such as taking care of the health of your teeth daily by brushing and cleaning. As recommended by the American Dental Association you should visit the dentist at regular intervals as instructed by your dentist, which is where our team comes in. We make sure all our patients are aware of the best oral practices so they have a healthy oral regimen. This goes beyond brushing twice a day.

By following the practices, you can ensure that your teeth are strong, clean and white. We focus on children as much as adults. We provide parents with dental preventive guidelines to ensure a healthy smile for their children.

Our guideline for healthy teeth:

Floss daily

Orthodontists also highly recommend flossing daily to help clean tight spaces in between your teeth which are harder for the brush to reach.

Brush your teeth daily

This the most important part of preventive dentistry. You should brush your teeth daily with fluoride toothpaste which should be approved by the American Dental Association. Toothbrushes should also be replaced as soon as the bristles start to fray.

Visit your dentist

You should make a dentist appointment at least once per year to examine any problems in the teeth or gums.

Follow a balanced diet

By eating a balanced diet, you are providing your teeth with the nutrients they need. It is best to limit our sugar and carbohydrate intake.

Restorative Dentistry

Our highly qualified and experienced doctors Dr. Patel and Dr. Kinjal conduct detailed examinations and diagnose the problem accordingly so that the patient is satisfied with the treatment. Only high-quality dental equipment and material are used so that if there is a need for a tooth replacement, you can rely on it for years.

We also offer restorative dentistry to create life-changing smiles:

Dental Crowns

Your dentist can restore the function and look of your damaged tooth by replacing it with a crown.

Fillings

If you want your teeth to have a more natural look, you can ask your dentist to use resin fillings which will give your tooth a natural look and restore its function.

Root Canals

When a tooth is damaged or decayed root canal therapy is the best solution to relieve discomfort and prevent future pain or infection.

Teeth whitening

There are two methods of teeth whitening, In-office professional whitening, and take-home whitening. As the names suggest, in-office is performed by the orthodontist, and take home is performed by yourself.

Sedation dentistry

For the patients who cannot bear the slight pain involved in the dental procedure or those patients who are just fearful or anxious, we provide Dental sedation. The patients are sedated by nitrous oxide which is commonly known as “laughing gas”. This gas helps the patient to relax and feel at ease during the procedure. This is a breathable gas supplied to the patient through a mask during the procedure. It takes effect instantly and also wears off as soon as the appointment is over and the patient can even drive home after the appointment.

Oral sedation will be prescribed to you by our doctors to take roughly one hour before your appointment. When you are sedated you will remain conscious but will be completely relaxed and almost in a state of slumber and you would most probably not remember anything during the procedure.

At Modern Day Smiles, we try our best to offer comprehensive dentistry to our valued patients so that they trust us enough to let us handle their whole families’ dental issues. You will notice a difference in the quality of care after your visit to our clinic and we know that you will appreciate the special attention given to you by our team of dental professionals.
